Asus Transformer Downloading PDF’s

One of many reasons I chose Android’s Honeycomb over iOS. Directly downloading PDF’s and files to the tablet vs having to load to a computer, import to iTunes, sync the iPad and then be able to view the file on the iPad. This shows how easy it is to goto any website and download a file and open it. Done, no syncing, no importing etc… Also showing the Polaris app that comes free on the Asus Transformer and how it quickly formats the PDF’s for viewing.

a comic book of the shattered glass transformers UPDATE: Wow thanks everyone so much for watching this vid and giving me 20000 views…I appreciate the likes and rates but I have to admit the Shattered Glass universe is possibly one of the Most prime and original Universes/Storylines I’ve seen in awhile ….sadly this is the only SG I have so if anyone on facebook has “Dungeons and Dragons” (that’s the 2nd comic) ill keep you guys updated

If I wanted about 100-150 apps. To stream netflix, so not download movies/shows. Maybe download about 30-100 books and store maybe store about 2gb worth of songs. With about 5gb a space left, would this be ok to get the 16gb Ipad

Most apps run around 5-15 MB, so 100-150 apps would put you between 0.5 & 2.25 GB…combine that with 2GB of songs, and probably a few gigs of books, you should have plenty of room left. Since, as you mentioned, streaming from Netflix won’t download the movies or shows on your device, the 16GB model sounds like it would be fine for you.

I have IBooks and nook on my iPad and just wondering if you buy an actual book, like with the paper inside, is there a code or something where you can download it onto iBooks or nook without paying for it twice? Or is there no such thing?

i just restored my ipad and all of my apps and books were lost….just to make sure, if i go into the app store or the books store and go to “Purchased,” i can just click on the download cloud next to each app/book and not be recharged, right? (i have a lot of apps/books that were not synced to my itunes beforehand and i’m a bit paranoid)
i didn’t get that message, which is kind of what is worrying me….it just automatically downloads.

Yeah it will tell you something along the lines of “you have already purchases this item are you sure you want to download again?” or something like that.

You can download a free kindle app for the Ipod/iPad/iPhone.
If you have an amazon account you can dowload ebooks – some are free (and quite good). Classics are free and they do offers such as Top 100 Free Of The Week.

My books keep disappearing on iBooks?

I just downloaded iOS 5 on my ipad and now all my books keep disappearing. They download but once they finish they shrink and go away. I tried restarting my iPad, re-syncing it, and deleting the app and redownloading it. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I understand this won’t help answer your question but I was thinking I might tell all of the fellow ipad supporters the ipad 3 features are now being discussed within this youtube video I found. I am just so fired up I cannot wait for it!!!
