If you own any device such as a Kindle or iPad or any of those new tablets, where does the money go to? I’m trying to figure out which company gets the profits. Does it all go to the publisher, with the download device company receiving a share?

goes to the same places money for a paper book would go – to the retailer, who pays the publisher the wholesale price who pays the author their royalty
