Download iPad Books

Question by tochau: question about restoring ipad?
i just restored my ipad and all of my apps and books were lost….just to make sure, if i go into the app store or the books store and go to “Purchased,” i can just click on the download cloud next to each app/book and not be recharged, right? (i have a lot of apps/books that were not synced to my itunes beforehand and i’m a bit paranoid)
i didn’t get that message, which is kind of what is worrying me….it just automatically downloads.

Yeah it will tell you something along the lines of “you have already purchases this item are you sure you want to download again?” or something like that.

Question by Hey! It’s Me!: Where can I download eBooks for iPod/iPad/iPhone?
Do you know where I can downloaded them for free, without membership? Must be legal! Even if the books are in PDF format are fine.

You can download a free kindle app for the Ipod/iPad/iPhone.
If you have an amazon account you can dowload ebooks – some are free (and quite good). Classics are free and they do offers such as Top 100 Free Of The Week.

Question by Kara: My books keep disappearing on iBooks?
I just downloaded iOS 5 on my ipad and now all my books keep disappearing. They download but once they finish they shrink and go away. I tried restarting my iPad, re-syncing it, and deleting the app and redownloading it. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I understand this won’t help answer your question but I was thinking I might tell all of the fellow ipad supporters the ipad 3 features are now being discussed within this youtube video I found. I am just so fired up I cannot wait for it!!!

Question by Jade: iPad 2 help with booksamples?
Okay, so I am one of those lucky 12 year olds who actually own an iPad 2. I am currently on vacation in Brazil at my grandma’s. Unfortunately, she doesn’t have any Wi-Fi at her house. I am a BIG reader; so since I have nothing to do here I might as well read on my amazing iPad 2. So what I do is connect my iPad to my laptop,open iTunes and yes buy a book! I want to buy the new PLL novel *dramtic pause* TWISTED! but since my parents won’t let me buy it yet… i want to get the sample. So I press GET SAMPLE and it says something about turning on automatic downloads and so I do. I press it again and it STILL won’t work! HELP?!

it wont work because, as you said, there is no wifi, that means there is no internet connection. Where would it download it from if there was no internet connection?
