Question by MCsquared12306: Which E-Book to purchase?
I’m going on a summer trip to Spain, France, and into many cities in German. On the long plane rides and train rides, I always like to read. So I was thinking about getting an E-Book. But I’m not sure which to get: Barns and Nobel Nook, Barns and Nobel Nook (color), Amazon Kindle, or any other brands. (My mom has the iPad I think it’s too big to carry around with me.) So I have some questions
Which has the longest battery life?
Which is lighter/easier to carry around?
Which is easier to see in sunlight (with a glare)?
Which can allow me to download books from my E-Book (if any) (at any is not most locations)?
Which has a greater memory?
Which (in your opinion) do you prefer?
Which (in your opinion) should I purchase?
If there are any other brands you recommend, please let me know. Money/cost is not a problem. Thank you!
P.S. I will be downloading a lot of books (I’m a heavy reader) and my little sister likes picture books. Do any of these brands have downloadable picture books (with the pictures?? lol)

Hi,
I’ll make this really easy for you. I had the same questions before purchasing my Kindle and the webpage below answered them all for me. In short, the Kindle has the longest battery life (3-4 weeks, which is great when you are travelling), one of the lightest (8.7 ounces), by far the best anti-glare eInk screen (mine has no glare, even in bright sunlight), Amazon has the most books available for download and in the most locations), the Kindle has one of the largest memories (store 3500 books).
I know Amazon has picture books, but due to the eInk screen they do not appear as nicely as on a LCD screen. Thats said, a LCD screen just drains you battery and strains your eyes anyway, so steer away from them.
